Recycling calendar
Date Published: 7 September 2011
The recycling calendar is your easy way to find out what is collected and when as part of the blue and green week kerbside collections.
The new recycling calendar for 2011/12 has been delivered with your Council Tax bill. There is also a link to it in the table below.
You can help Colchester become the cleanest and greenest borough in the country by putting your recycling out correctly for collection. In the table below you can choose to either view online or download and print. You can also find out what the usual collection day is for your street.
If you would prefer to pick up a copy of the Recycling Calendar rather than print it here it is available at the following locations:
• year-round – Customer Service Centre, High Street, Colchester
• subject to stock – Mersea Town Council; Wivenhoe Town Council and Tiptree Parish Council Office; Greenstead Local Housing Office
As Garrison families and University of Essex students living off campus in student-only households do not receive the calendar through this distribution the Council ensures they can get a copy through working with contacts in these communities. University students can pick up a copy from the Student Union Offices at Essex University (subject to stock) and from Community Street Wardens working in local neighbourhoods.
