Are you looking for an enjoyable and gentle traffic-free cycle ride?
Then why not join the Cycle Champions' regular gentle cycle ride at 11am every Wednesday. Everyone is welcome, whatever your ability.
Richard Monk, Colchester's Community Cycling Development Officer, explained: "The ride starts at Leisure World and follows a traffic-free route. The emphasis is on making it fun and sociable, often with a coffee stop as well. The rides are only a short distance, and very much tailored to what everyone in the group is comfortable with. We take it leisurely but we have ventured to Wivenhoe and cycled around High Woods Country Park on pleasant summer's days."
You don't have to have your own bike as Richard has a supply. If you're interested but unsure, feel free to give Richard a call on 01206 506412 . If you can't make Wednesday, Richard is happy to look at arranging rides on other days.
